Facilities Team Opportunities

The Lifepoint Facilities Team is looking for volunteers in two specific areas of ministry...

Opportunity #1: Faith & Febreze Small Group – meets every Friday morning from 8:30am - 12:00pm for a time of fellowship, service and devotion. Consisting of men and women of all ages, we come together to clean and prepare our facility for the weekend services. Tasks include vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, straightening up and organizing, creating a first-rate environment for our members and guests. We break for a 45-minute time of devotion and prayer, building relationships that lasts beyond the walls of our church. Childcare is provided. Opportunities to serve during the week during normal business hours and in the evening, exist also.

Opportunity #2: Landscaping & Grounds Maintenance – It is our goal to build a team of volunteers to take over the exterior grounds maintenance of Lifepoint Church. Tasks will include cutting grass, weed whacking, hedge trimming, minor shrub pruning and planting bed weeding, etc. In addition, cleaning and maintenance of our parking area would be included. The amount of property that requires lawn maintenance is limited and I foresee this as a job that could be accomplished every other week. Work could take place on Saturdays or weekday evenings.

Not every serving opportunity is “visible”, yet all are equally important in building God’s kingdom here at Lifepoint, in Wilmington and the world. Come! Be a part of building His kingdom!

If either of these opportunities fit your gifts and calling, please contact me (chris@lifepointnow.com) right away to get plugged in!

I Cor. 12:24-27 But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it, so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other. If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
