LOVE GOD
Our first desire for everyone who calls Lifepoint home is that they LOVE GOD. There are many ways to do that but the main way at Lifepoint is through our Sunday morning worship experiences. Sunday is a time when we can come together to celebrate and worship all that God is doing in our lives!
So where are you at in your Love for God?

Jesus said He was God
Matthew 26:63-64, "The high priest said to him, "I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God." "Yes, it is as you say," Jesus replied. "But I say to all of you: In the future you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven."
John 1:1-4, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men."
John 14:8-10, "Philip said, "Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us." Jesus answered: "Don't you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you are not just my own. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work."
Jesus said He came from heaven, God's eternal dwelling place.
John 6:38, "For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me."
John 16:28, "I came from the Father and entered the world; now I am leaving the world and going back to the Father."
Jesus said he was sinless
John 8:46, "Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me?"
2 Corinthians 5:21, "For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ."
1 Peter 1:19, "It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God."
Jesus forgave sin
Mark 2:5, "Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralyzed man, "My child, your sins are forgiven."
Luke 7:47-50, "I tell you, her sins -- and they are many -- have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love." Then Jesus said to the woman, "Your sins are forgiven." The men at the table said among themselves, "Who is this man, that he goes around forgiving sins?" And Jesus said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace."
Jesus said He was the only way to heaven
John 14:6, "Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me."
John 11:25, "Jesus told her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying."
Jesus accepted worship as God
Matthew 14:33, "Then the disciples worshiped him. "You really are the Son of God!" they exclaimed."
John 9:35-38, "When Jesus heard what had happened, he found the man and asked, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" The man answered, "Who is he, sir? I want to believe in him." "You have seen him," Jesus said, "and he is speaking to you!" "Yes, Lord, I believe!" the man said. And he worshiped Jesus."
Jesus performed miracles including raising Himself from death
Matthew 4:23, "Jesus traveled throughout the region of Galilee, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness."
Matthew 9:18-19, 24-26, "As Jesus was saying this, the leader of a synagogue came and knelt before him. "My daughter has just died," he said, "but you can bring her back to life again if you just come and lay your hand on her." So Jesus and his disciples got up and went with him... When Jesus arrived at the official's home, he saw the noisy crowd and heard the funeral music. "Get out!" he told them. "The girl isn't dead; she's only asleep." But the crowd laughed at him. After the crowd was put outside, however, Jesus went in and took the girl by the hand, and she stood up! The report of this miracle swept through the entire countryside."
Luke 24:5-8, "The women were terrified and bowed with their faces to the ground. Then the men asked, "Why are you looking among the dead for someone who is alive? He isn't here! He has risen from the dead! Remember what he told you back in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be betrayed into the hands of sinful men and be crucified, and that he would rise again on the third day." Then they remembered that he had said this."
Matthew 20:19-20, "That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly, Jesus was standing there among them! "Peace be with you," he said. As he spoke, he showed them the wounds in his hands and his side. They were filled with joy when they saw the Lord!"
1 Corinthians 15:3-8, "I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles. Last of all, as though I had been born at the wrong time, I also saw him."
